Stroke Adaption
Being able to swim is great, however! being able to swim well and effectively is a great goal to have. Learning all the hidden techniques is a feather in your hat or secret in your swim cap.
The 4 strokes of Swimming:

Freestyle
Freestyle is the most difficult stroke to learn.
Your face is underwater for most of the stroke cycle, and you have to roll to either side to breathe.
To make it even more complex your arms and legs need to move all together.
Therefore, it takes a lot of practice to perform all of the different movements of this swimming stroke correctly and simultaneously.
At Silver Sharks I make it a lot easier as each part is taught separately.
Once each part is mastered all the parts are done at once.

Breastroke
Breastroke is the easiest of the four strokes as you can keep you head above water.
This makes it easier as you do not require goggles and you can breathe normally.
It is usually the first stroke that is taught.

Butterfly
Butterfly is also a complex stroke to learn as it is requires a lot of strength to propel your body out of the water.
Thus, patience is a virtue when learning this stroke as it requires good timing of trunk, arm and leg movements

Backstroke
Backstroke requires good balance to ensure that your head does not sink and cause you to be unable to breathe.
Each component of this stroke is taught individually.
Once these components are mastered they are all combined at once
