South Africa has an unacceptably high rate of drownings 🙁 FINALLY a swim school owned and run by Michele Davey, that not only teaches little people to become water safe, but takes our children to advanced levels of swimming. Even to South African GOLD MEDALISTS !! Thank you Michele for your passion for the sport and saving lives, for your gentle caring of our children, from babes to teens and adults. Also for our special needs person 🙂 Inspiring and building their confidence to swim well and for many moving into becoming nippers, life savers and teachers themselves. Michelle is now an accredited Life Saving invigilator who assesses the life saving tests fairly and teaches the life saving content in a simplistic and fun way.

My child is 8 years old and he only just qualified as a nipper in January 2020.
One month into training and learning  he saved a very important part of my family after she got into a difficult situation in the family pool. He recognized the panic and reacted immediately and retrieved my love one back to the safety of the shallow end.

A blink of an eye and a second later it all could have been so very different.

I am so proud of my boy, he is a total hero in my books.
I cannot thank Michelle enough for teaching my son and for introducing him to this amazing sport of Life Saving.
